LEGAL BASES

Legal bases for processing

Depending on the processing concerned, AI-Training may rely on different legal bases.

  • Consent: particularly when the user voluntarily authorises access to certain health data, location, Apple Health, a sports service or a calendar.
  • Performance of the service: where processing is necessary to provide features requested by the user.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation: where certain data must be retained or processed under applicable law.
  • Legitimate interests: where necessary to ensure security, prevent abuse and maintain or improve the technical operation of the service, subject to users' rights.
06

Data retention

Data required for the operation of an account may be retained for the duration of the user's use of the service.

When a user requests deletion of their account, the relevant data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with the applicable procedure.

Some information may nevertheless be temporarily retained where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, ensure service security, manage a dispute or allow backup systems to operate normally.

For more information, see: Account and data deletion.

07

Technical providers and connected services

Certain data may be processed as part of technical services or integrations voluntarily enabled by the user.

  • Firebase: authentication, database, storage and associated technical services.
  • Google Cloud: infrastructure, application processing, analysis and service security.
  • Garmin, Suunto, Polar and Strava: sports-data synchronisation when the user voluntarily connects the relevant service.
  • Apple Health: access to certain health and activity data only after user authorisation.
  • Apple Calendar and Google Calendar: voluntary synchronisation of planned workouts.

AI-Training does not sell its users' personal data.

Data from connected sports or health services is not resold, rented or used for targeted advertising.

08

Apple Calendar and Google Calendar

AI-Training allows users to voluntarily synchronise certain planned workouts with their personal calendar.

Apple Calendar

On iOS, AI-Training uses Apple EventKit features after explicit user authorisation to create or update events corresponding to planned workouts.

Google Calendar

When Google Calendar synchronisation is enabled, AI-Training uses the calendar.events permission to create or update events corresponding to planned workouts.

This feature is optional and enabled by the user.

Calendar data is not used for advertising, marketing, advertising profiling or resale.

Users may withdraw authorisation from their Apple device settings or Google Account settings.

After authorisation is withdrawn, no new calendar synchronisation is performed.

09

Connected sports platforms

Users may connect AI-Training to certain sports services in order to import authorised activities or data.

Garmin Connect

When Garmin Connect is connected, AI-Training may access authorised activity data including distance, duration, heart rate, cadence, power, elevation and tracks.

This data is used for sports analysis and personalised recommendations.

Garmin Connect data is not resold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Polar and Suunto

When Polar or Suunto is connected, authorised data such as distance, duration, heart rate or elevation may be imported for display, analysis and sports-progress tracking.

This data is not sold, rented or shared for commercial purposes.

Strava

Data retrieved through the Strava API, such as activities, certain metrics or routes, is used to provide features requested by the user.

It may be used for activity display, statistics and sports analysis.

Strava data imported through the API is displayed only to the authenticated user who authorised the connection, except where the user voluntarily chooses a sharing feature provided by the application.

AI-Training does not create Strava posts without user action.

Data obtained through the Strava API is not used to train, fine-tune or create a dataset intended to train an artificial intelligence or machine-learning model.

Strava may collect certain information relating to the use of its API in accordance with its own terms and policies.

Revoking connections

Users may revoke authorisation from the relevant service.

After revocation, AI-Training stops importing new data through that connection.

The privacy policies of the relevant providers are available on their respective websites.

10
HEALTH DATA

Apple Health / HealthKit

When a user authorises AI-Training to access certain Health app data, such as workouts, heart rate or weight, this data is used to provide the requested tracking, analysis and recommendation features.

Data obtained through Apple Health / HealthKit is not used for targeted advertising or marketing.

It is not sold.

Users may withdraw permissions at any time from their Apple device.

After withdrawal, no new data covered by that permission is imported.

11
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Automated processing and algorithmic recommendations

AI-Training uses a self-hosted artificial intelligence model and a self-hosted algorithmic engine to analyse certain user information.

These processes are used to generate training plans, sports analyses, recommendations and workout adjustments.

Processing is carried out on infrastructure controlled by 3N TECHNOLOGIES.

AI-Training does not use a third-party artificial intelligence provider to process data from connected sports APIs, Apple Calendar or Google Calendar.

This data is not transmitted to a third-party AI provider for model training, fine-tuning, advertising profiling or dataset creation.

Processing may take into account, where available:

  • heart rate;
  • HRV;
  • VO2max;
  • power;
  • cadence;
  • speed and pace;
  • elevation;
  • training load;
  • fatigue;
  • recovery;
  • sleep;
  • injuries;
  • stress;
  • hydration;
  • nutrition;
  • menstrual cycle;
  • GPS routes;
  • weather;
  • available equipment.

This processing may be used to assess physical condition, fatigue, recent training load and recovery in order to adapt proposed workouts.

AI-Training recommendations are intended as sports-training assistance.

They do not constitute an automated decision that, by itself, produces legal effects for the user.

If the technologies or processing methods used by AI-Training change significantly, this policy will be updated to inform users.

  • right to erasure;
  • right to restriction of processing;
  • right to object where applicable;
